    Loving My New Geox boots

Getting ready for cold weather and winter in general I have found myself collecting jackets and boots. Recently I picked up a pair of Geox and i’m loving them! They look great but most importantly are so damn comfortable. I can style them with a good majority of what I wear, which is super important. The worst thing is to settle for a pair of shoes or boots, although they are functional that don’t match your style.

I would much rather wait it out and be a bit more selective until i find something that works for me. But back to these boots, they have a great rugged look, and the functionality is right up my alley. The side zipper mitigates the laces which makes me super happy because at the end of the day i’m super lazy and hate having to spend time lacing up any pair of shoes.

    Geox Outfit Look

So for all you out there trying to figure out boot situation for the coming months, pop in to your local Geox and check out their selection of boots. The have an entire line of fashionable boots and shoes that are water resistant too, because ain’t no one like wet socks!

  • Winter is COMING! Time to get that winter footwear in the rotation

Winter is COMING! Time to get that winter footwear in the rotation

Living in Canada, although a beautiful country we do live in sometimes harsh conditions. Footwear is a major proponent to any outfit and functionality has to be at the center of how it all comes together.

I currently have a few boots that I rotate throughout winter depending on the circumstances. let start with my daily boot. I wear this generally anytime I need or want to wear a boot without any occasion.

    GEOX AMPHIBIOX: Jaylon ABX

All leather, water proof , and breathable! not to mention comfortable to boot [no pun intended]. A must have in any winter rotation. Having a classic design as well let it compliment mostly any type of outfit you plan on wearing out.

    JOHN VARVATOS: Fleetwood Lace Boot

Now if I’m looking to dress it up a bit without going full dress shoe, my Fleetwood Lace Boot is my automatic go to. After hitting it with some protective spray I’m good to go for winter! I have yet to buy the rest of the boots I need but will most likely be picking up a paid of Sorel type boots specifically for snow outings and shoveling the driveway. Other than that, maybe a pair of chelsea boots just to go a step above the Fleetwoods for more formal occasions.

What are your favourite boots for winter?

  • Kicks On The Road

    Kicks On The Road

    Hey yo,

What’s up people people, just got back from my trip to Tokyo, Japan! Figured i would share some useful information with you all. By useful, I mean the stuff I pack for my feet. Sneaker mainly, but shoes in general. Anytime I travel one of the most important things I take are a variety of shoes. [But Dave you’re a dude, not a chick you just need one pair bro] ~NO!  I need my kicks, and lemme tell you why. First, what happens if it rains and your one pair get all messed up? What about when you go to a music festival/night club and your kicks get all messed up? Oh and all of a sudden you are going somewhere fancy, what then?

This is why I take a few pairs, and depending where I go I tend to come home with a few extra too :).

Tokyo has my favourite sneaker brand [Supra Footwear] so i bought another pair……then I went to the Nike outlet at Diver City in Odaiba. One thing I have noticed is that what’s popular here might not be as popular there, That being said I was able to pickup a pair of Nike LunarEpic Flyknits for $80 instead of $250. But I digress, this post isn’t about all the stuff I spent my money on.

So lets get to it, I like to take a few pairs of shoes for a few situations.

    • A pair of loafers

      • Loafers are my formal/informal go to shoe, you can dress it up with a suit or button up but you can just wear it as is with a pair of cropped pants. But a must have when I travel. My go to loafers are Geox driving shoes with rubber sole, they have the Geox breathable tech built in which is great because I don’t like wearing socks.
    • Main daily shoe

      • This shoe is your go to, whatever you feel most comfortable wearing day to day that will compliment basically everything in your wardrobe. However can also handle a lot of potential walking. For this this trip I broke out my GEOX NEBULA sneakers, They are comfortable, super breathable since the sole has built in holes for awesome ventilation, not to mention they look pretty good too!
    • BACKUPS!

      • Mainly I bring backups for my daily shoe, mostly because at home I have a shoe rotation, which also makes my shoes last for what seems like eternity. I brought Tokyo to Tokyo this trip with 2 pairs of Supra Skytops. My all whites, and a pair of black suede ones.

So all in all I was covered no matter what I was doing this trip. Got there with 4 pairs came home with 6…whatever I can never have enough shoes!

What shoes are normally on your packing list when you travel?

  • Nothing Like A Nice Pair Of Driving Shoes

Nothing Like A Nice Pair Of Driving Shoes

We are mid summer and boy it has been a hot one. Personally when summer hits I prefer to wear shoes that don’t require socks…depending on your style some shoes are just more comfortable and look better when worn that way.

    Geox

Recently I have teamed up with Geox to try out their shoes and give you my take on them. All I can say is….NO SOCKS!!!!

I picked myself up a pair of Xense Mox Loafers. Up until now Geox wasn’t really on my radar, but after checking them out I Bought a second pair because they so damn comfortable and their build is such good quality.

Geox shoes have what I like to call speed holes build into the bottom which increased air flow around your foot. What does this mean? My shoes don’t get that funk after wearing them without socks! WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER, finally a shoe that I don’t have to worry about taking off when I visit friends.

These loafers are pretty sweet, a full rubber sole instead of the dots give better support, built in ventilation so no more funk, and they are still stylish and go well with a well put together outfit. Dress ’em up or dress ’em down it doesn’t matter they work all around with more or less anything that I wear.
